After we discuss your specifics and your timeline, we can arrange for an on-site evaluation of your home, and put an action plan in place. What is important is to contact us BEFORE you have scheduled any Open Houses. 4. How much do your services cost?
Each project is special. Some projects, such as a one-day room makeover, can take place in a 5-6 hour block of time. Real estate staging projects vary as to price, depending on whether or not the property is vacant. Design projects and organizing projects vary in price, dependent on the scope of the job.

5. Can you do the one-day room makeovers like they have on HGTV?
Yes, IRIS associates continue to be featured on HGTV’s “Decorating Cents”, in a segment called “No Cost Decorating”. While that title is a bit misleading, what Joan Steffend means is using what the homeowner already owns. I am a certified interior redesigner with specific training in the art of rearranging to enhance what you already own. Back to top.
6. Every time I start this myself, it never turns out like I want or I lose energy and stop too soon. Why is that?
Perhaps life and all of its components got in the way. Often people’s lives get too busy for them to have the time to focus on their homes. Many times sudden events pop into their worlds quite unexpectedly and they find themselves overwhelmed for awhile. Maybe there have been major life changes occurring or there is a special deadline looming ahead. By studying what is working in your home, and with my background in design and redesign, I bring fresh eyes, nonjudgement, and new energy to your space. Back to top.
7. If I feel I would like to freshen up some of the rooms of my home with a new look, will you do the shopping if I am too busy?
Yes, we are able to shop for the client and bring items to their home for approval. As a redesigner, I am able to get discounts at selected places and can pass along that savings to you.
